You Should Drink These 9 Healthy Juices While Pregnant
While many people think that it’s better to eat your vitamins instead of drink them, there are certain times when drinking them can be more beneficial than eating them.
One of those times is when you’re pregnant! For your own health and the health of your baby, you should be drinking these 9 healthy juices while pregnant
1) Pineapple Juice
Pineapple juice is a rich source of bromelain, an enzyme that works as a natural anti-inflammatory. It is also a great source of vitamin C.
Bromelain can help ward off morning sickness and it can help ease heartburn and gas pains during pregnancy.
Pineapple juice doesn’t just have digestive benefits, though. It contains phytonutrients that are beneficial to fetal development.
2) Blackcurrant Juice
Packed with antioxidants that help boost your immune system, blackcurrant juice also contains vitamin C and folic acid, which will help ward off nasty illnesses.
It’s a tasty drink that you can enjoy without having to swallow large chunks of fruit. If you do feel queasy when you first start drinking it, try freezing it first; there’s something about freezing food or liquid that makes many women more comfortable with eating or drinking them during pregnancy.
Be sure to speak with your doctor before attempting to make any changes to your diet, however; he or she may have other ideas about what foods are safe for pregnant women.
3) Red Raspberry Juice
Raspberries are a good source of antioxidants, which boost immunity and help fight disease. They’re also packed with vitamin C and iron, both of which aid in red blood cell production.
Expecting mothers will benefit from their rich supply of folic acid, too, a nutrient that has been linked to brain development in infants. Drinking raspberry juice can strengthen hair and nails as well.

Celery juice might sound a little strange, but it’s actually one of nature’s best sources of sodium.
Sodium is essential for retaining your body’s water and electrolytes (like potassium and magnesium), which are all critical during pregnancy.
Along with helping you avoid dehydration, drinking celery juice while pregnant can help ease morning sickness as well as relieve constipation—that is, if you can get past its decidedly unappealing taste.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is easily one of my favorite ingredients for health, beauty and home. It’s a great natural tonic for overall wellness, digestion, immune support and more.
As part of your balanced diet while pregnant, ACV can help boost energy levels and your overall mood.
When you’re feeling tired or fatigued during pregnancy, it’s important to take care of yourself by eating well-balanced meals with plenty of fruits and vegetables along with drinking plenty of water.
Drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water may also help ease constipation when you’re pregnant.
Use 1 teaspoon ACV mixed in 2 teaspoons warm water 3 times daily after meals until symptoms subside.
6) Beetroot Juice
Beets are full of blood-building vitamins and minerals that are great for mom and baby.
Take a look at other benefits of beets (or make your own beetroot juice) to see if it’s right for you. But don’t overdo it:
There is no evidence showing that consuming high amounts of beetroot is safe during pregnancy, so stick with 1–2 glasses per day.
7) Spinach Juice
During pregnancy, your baby needs all sorts of nutrients to grow and develop.
When it comes to fruits and vegetables, spinach is loaded with magnesium, which helps build your baby’s bones.
And spinach is also high in folate, a B vitamin that keeps your brain healthy—for you AND for baby! Experts recommend getting about 700 micrograms of folate each day—and one glass of spinach juice has nearly 100% of that.
8) Cranberry Juice
Some research suggests that women who drink cranberry juice while pregnant may have a lower risk of delivering early.
Cranberry juice also helps to maintain healthy urination throughout pregnancy, which may reduce your chances of developing a UTI, or urinary tract infection.
9) Carrot Juice
The beta-carotene in carrot juice helps your body form hemoglobin, which carries oxygen throughout your body.
When you’re pregnant, you need more oxygen to feed your baby, and drinking carrot juice is a simple way to get it.
Carrot juice also contains vitamins C and K, potassium and manganese; your baby will benefit from these nutrients as well.
One cup of carrot juice has 34 calories. You can make fresh-pressed carrot juice by using a juicer or by blending cooked carrots with some water.
If possible, look for organic carrots as they have less pesticide residue than conventionally grown ones do.
Depending on where you live and how fresh they are when you buy them, they may not be organic!
